Yes, we have to go there...COVID

We have to talk about it, covid, it's not going anywhere soon but we can create our new "normal" so that we can have the best of both worlds; be safe yet still be together.

If we keep each other's well-being in mind for ourselves and the majority, it is very doable.

At all in-person events, we will have masks available for optional use.

If you have been exposed to someone who is covid positive or unsure, please remain home until you test negative.  Please do not assume no symptoms means negative.  To be negative, it needs to be tested negative.

Sani Gel will be provided at all in-person events

All food will be prepackaged (manufacturer packaged or store-packaged), except for coffee and tea.

All seating at in-person events will be spaced. They will not be 6' apart but they will be spaced so as to avoid breathing in each other's faces. Some of the most contagious times for viruses are before symptoms are present.

All surfaces will be wiped down with Clorox Sanitizing wipes prior to all in-person events.

The rest is up to you.

If there is an outbreak which is currently considered two (2) people in the same location, we will inform the Hillsview Active Living Centre.

We would then return to virtual services for at least one service or as required until we know there have been no further cases within our congregational community.

There are a number of people who are immune-compromised within our congregation.  There are also a number of people who have regular access to those who are elderly and immune-compromised.

We need to keep in mind and apply our Principles of Spiritualism to how we live and interact with others.  We all have accountability and responsibility for our own actions and decisions. We also have the accountability to look out for each other.

We ask that if you know someone within our congregation who is not well, or in need of any kind of assistance, please let us know. Check-in on each other. That is what a community and a congregation are for. One of our main purposes on this physical journey is to hold each other up during tough times and celebrate life together.
